Title: Brood of Serpents
Caption: “The Jew’s symbol is a worm, not without reason. He seeks to creep up on what he wants.”
September 1934 (Issue #40)

Analysis:
Based on these three photos, the public did not favor Jewish people because they viewed them as greedy, sneaky, and selfish. The artist portrays the Jews in the cartoon with large noses, thick eyebrows, and other pointy features. The central goal of these images is mainly to gain hate support against the Jews and to simply be cruel.

Hitler's 25 Points:

Hitler's 25 points were strongly based off of German nationalism and citizenship. Many of the points set laws against foreign and Jewish citizenship. Hitler especially focused on the preservation of "German Blood" such as in point 4; "Only those who have German blood, regardless of creed, can be our countrymen". Through his 25 points Hitler aimed to improve the lives of the German people and soley the German people as perceived in point 7, 9, and 10 referring to rights, quality of life, and citizenship of the German people. Hitler also touches on war with anti- German countries seeking "ruthless war be waged against those who work to the injury of the common welfare (point 18)". Overall Hitler sought a Germany of pure-blood Germans, with better/secure lives, and a strong military and economy. All those who did not meet these standards was not allowed to live in the new Germany Hitler wanted to create.

The Nazi Symbol:

The Nazi swastika was derived from monasteries and antisemitic symbols seen throughout history. The symbol was placed in a white circle on red flag which is distinct and recognizable by all Germans. It stands out because it is bold.

The Goal of the Putsch:

Hitler and the Nazi party planned to take power over Germany by force. The plan was to kidnap the leaders of the Bavarian Government and force them to hand over their power and recognize Hitler as the leader of Germany.

End Result of the Beer Hall/Putsch:

The Putsch proved unsuccessful. After abandoning his Nazi Army during a gun- breakout, Hitler was arrested and sent to Prison. It appeared that the Nazi party had fallen off the map, however a look into history says otherwise.

Quote Analysis:

"All the human culture, all the results of art, science, and technology that we see before us today, are almost exclusively the creative product of the Aryan..."
- Hitler's interest and praise of the Aryans is portrayed through this quote. He feels that all modern day advancements were derived from the Aryans, implying that they are great and intelligent people. Indirectly, this reveals his lack of respect and interest for non-Aryan peoples such as the Jews. The Antisemitic ideals soon strongly follow this claim.
